We obedience train all larger breeds of dogs, as well as
mixed breeds. Our obedience training consists of establishing
good manners to help make your dog a better pet. We have provided
obedience training for a lot of Labs that are just pets and
not used for hunting.
Obedience training typically takes one to two months at our
facility. However, just as for retriever training, the owner
must continue to work with the dog and reinforce and training
from that point, to help the dog retain the skills he or she
learned and to make continued progress. We highly recommend
obedience training for dogs that are pets -- it helps owners
enjoy their dogs that much more.
To train or board at the kennels, we request a document indicating
that the dog is current with its vaccines and has had a kennel
cough vaccine. By doing so, we hope to protect all of our
dogs from these types of diseases, and we will know they are
in good training health. If you have any questions or problems
